Plagiarism and Originality Policy
Journal of Education, Linguistics and Psychology (JELP) publishes only original work. Plagiarism — presenting the words, data, ideas or results of others, or of the authors' own previous publications, without appropriate citation — is not tolerated.
- Manuscripts are assessed for originality during the initial editorial check and by reviewers, who are asked to report any overlap with existing literature.
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism before publication are rejected. If plagiarism is identified after publication, the article will be corrected or retracted following COPE guidance, and the authors' institutions may be informed.
- Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts with similarity-detection software before submission.
