Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

Journal of Engineering, Infrastructure and Geosciences (JEIG) encourages authors to share their work as widely as possible. Authors may deposit any version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, on personal or departmental websites and on academic social networks, without embargo:

  • Submitted version (preprint) — may be shared at any time, before or during review.
  • Accepted manuscript (postprint) — may be shared immediately after acceptance.
  • Published version (version of record) — may be shared immediately after publication, under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence.

When depositing, please cite the original publication in JEIG and link to the article page. Authors are encouraged to deposit the published version in their institution's repository.

Preservation

All published content is stored on the publisher's servers with regular backups, and article metadata are openly harvestable through OAI-PMH. Enrolment in a dedicated long-term preservation service (PKP Preservation Network/LOCKSS) will follow once the journal receives its e-ISSN; this page will be updated when it is in place.
