About the Journal

Building, Measuring and Understanding the Earth

Focus and Scope

Civil engineering, environmental engineering, urban and regional planning and spatial planning, geology, geodesy and geomatics, mechanical engineering, water resources and infrastructure systems.

The journal welcomes submissions from researchers in all countries. Its particular interest lies in work relevant to Indonesia, Southeast Asia and other developing regions, including comparative studies.

Journal History

Founded in 2026 by Research Center Progresif as the publisher's engineering and earth-sciences title. On 30 August 2026 the journal's scope was deliberately kept to engineering, infrastructure and the geosciences: the agricultural, livestock and fisheries sciences were given their own title (JALF) rather than being absorbed here, so that each journal is assessed within its own field. The title, ISSN application and editorial board are unchanged.
